Hi all
I am going to have a stab of depomedrome on Tues before our holidays....
I will be high as a kite for a day or 2 and simmer down in time to fly off.
Who else has a big stab of depo before their hols and how much do you have?

Hi Jenni,
I hope the jab helps a lot so that you can enjoy your holiday. Where are you going?
Ian and I are going to Canada in October and I am planning to have a steroid jab before we go, to get the extra energy boost!
Wish we could just go and enjoy ourselves without needing the jab though!

Jenni, I had 40mg of depo on 22nd July, didnt seem to make any difference though. His report said "recent right lateral hip pain, tender-injected with 40mg depo over greater trochanter" BARBARA

Evening Ladies, I went to see my GP this week in agony, he wanted to give me the same injection but wanted to check with me Rhuemy Doc first. He couldn't get a response from her, still waiting........still in pain CONSTANTLY, just the level changes. Have a great holiday Jenni, hope find a new lease of life for the duration Trace xx

Hello there,
I have had a few depo inject and I think it was 40 per time, but can't be sure (not a lot of use am I )
They are brilliant though . Great to feel better with a renewed engergu hope you going somewhere nice ?

How funny!
I went to see my GP on Tues to discuss the very same thing- he wants to stab me too with 120mg of depo but we need my rheumy's go ahead really as this will be the fourth injection since January.....
We are off on Monday though so time has run out really.....will have to depend on less orthodox pain relief...you know me!

I think mine is 120.
I am in such terrible pain today. Its like tooth ache all over.
I am going to have a blood test on monday though!

I didnt make it in the end- had a dreadful flair and ended up being admitted.
never mind!
At least I had the STAB one way or another.
